SURFACE PREPARATION
All surfaces must be clean, dry, free from dust, dirt, chalk, laitance, efflorescence, rust, grease, oil, and all other foreign materials.
PAINTING SYSTEM
Product Preparation:
Two-Coat System
For best result, this system is recommended:
- Apply Davies DV-48-1 Wood Bleach #1. Let dry for 1 or 2 hours.
- Apply Davies DV-48-2 Wood Bleach #2. Let dry overnight. Sand lightly and dust off.
One-Coat System
- Mix Davies DV-48-1 Wood Bleach #1 and Davies DV-48-2 Wood Bleach #2 in equal proportion just before application. Since decomposition of the bleaching solution begins as soon as the activator mixed with it, only mixtures enough for use within 2 to 3 hours should be prepared at one time.
- Apply Davies DV-48-1 Wood Bleach #1 and Davies DV-48-2 Wood Bleach #2 mixture. Let dry overnight. Discard unused mixture. Sand lightly and dust off.
Caution!
Skin Irritant! Keep away from heat and open flame. Use with adequate ventilation. Rubber gloves are strongly recommended for handling the solution. Avoid prolonged skin contact and repeated breathing of vapors. Wash skin immediately when it comes into contact.
